Internal Medicine Physician – Concierge Medicine

University of Michigan Health is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join Victors Care, its concierge medicine practice in Ann Arbor.

With patient panels capped at 500 members—and the ability to cap as early as 350—this opportunity allows physicians to truly know their patients and provide highly personalized, relationship-driven care while remaining fully integrated with the University of Michigan Health System.

We are seeking a physician with a demonstrated record of clinical excellence, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding patient experience. Victors Care physicians are fully integrated into the University of Michigan Health System and work closely with clinical programs, specialists, research and academic partners to ensure patients receive distinguished, coordinated care across the health system.

Competitive candidates should have strong clinical training and a demonstrated record of clinical excellence, with experience providing care to older adults strongly preferred.

About the Opportunity:

• Patient panel capped at 500 members, with the ability to cap as early as 350
• Full-time schedule with the possibility of dedicated virtual time
• No in-person night or weekend responsibilities
• No inpatient rounding responsibilities; physicians may collaborate and advocate for members when hospitalized
• Opportunity to craft your scope of practice around your unique skill set and interests, including lifestyle medicine, procedures and other areas
• Care includes chronic disease management, acute outpatient care and comprehensive annual preventive health examinations
• Provide 24/7 telephonic access to members for urgent after-hours needs
• Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and specialists
• Partner with practice management to continually innovate and improve the delivery and experience of primary care

Position Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should have a strong academic background along with passion for clinical excellence, possess exceptional communication skills, and be committed to providing an incredible member experience. Specific qualifications include:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Michigan Medical License
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Excellent communication skills, bedside manner, quality care and organizational skills
• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, values-driven organization
• At least 5 years of post-residency clinical experience is required

Knowledge and Preferred Skill Set:

The ideal candidate must desire continuous growth and innovation, be willing to educate groups via public speaking and networking and have a willingness to practice exceptional high-service concierge medicine.

The desired candidate will participate in medical staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
