Job Summary
The Department of Neurosurgery at Michigan Medicine is seeking a neurocritical care physician to join its privademic NeuroCare Network at UMH Sparrow/MSU in Lansing. The successful applicant will be an active participant in the academic mission of the department and institution. Duties include patient care, teaching, administrative, and research responsibilities. Research activity will include initiation of projects, acquisition of external funding, project direction, and publications.
Required Qualifications*
Medical doctorate degree. Completion of a Neurocitical Care residency training program. American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification or eligibility. Hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan and a Federal DEA registration. Demonstrated ability as a neurocritical care physician. Evidence of competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected. Evidence of scholarly ability (publications in peer-reviewed journals, successful acquisition of external funding, etc.) is also expected.
Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
