What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Hospitalist position at Michigan Medicine Department of Internal Medicine?
The Division of Hospital Medicine at Michigan Medicine is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physicians to join one of the largest and most collaborative academic hospitalist programs in the country. Our group includes 160 hospitalists and 65 advanced practice providers working across 10 unique services, offering diverse care models and career paths.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a team-based environment and are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care while contributing to the mission of academic medicine. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with ACLS certification required by the start date.
Opportunities Include:
- We offer Nocturnist, Hybrid, and Regular Faculty roles: physicians 0–2 years post-residency are eligible for Nocturnist or Hybrid positions, while those with 3 years post-residency may also be considered for Regular Faculty roles (primary days/evenings with some nights).
