The DevOps / Release Management Intern will support software build, deployment, and release activities across multiple environments. Working alongside experienced DevOps Engineers, this role offers hands-on experience with enterprise IT processes in a regulated insurance environment.

Gain practical experience with DevOps automation, release management, and enterprise IT operations that support secure, reliable technology delivery within the insurance industry.

Assist with planning, scheduling, and tracking software releases across development, QA, staging, and production environments.

Follow established release management and change control processes.

Support software builds and deployments using Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure and automation tools.

Execute and maintain automated build and deployment scripts under the guidance of DevOps Engineers.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to ensure smooth releases and clear communication.

Help maintain security, documentation, and compliance standards.

Identify and communicate potential risks or issues impacting releases.

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps concepts.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn new technologies.
