Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Coach in developing and implementing training programs, providing guidance to players, and supporting the overall success of the football team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practice sessions
- Provide individual coaching to players on techniques and skills improvement
- Support in-game strategy development and implementation
- Monitor and ensure the academic progress of student-athletes
- Assist in scouting opponents and analyzing game footage
- Help maintain equipment and facilities used by the team
Experience
- Previous experience in football coaching or playing at a competitive level is preferred
- Knowledge of various coaching techniques and strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate with players, staff, and parents
- Familiarity with strength and conditioning programs for athletes
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant qualifications is a plus
