Position Details

• Must possess current Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate
• Preferred ZA/Early Childhood Endorsement
• ESL Endorsement or experience working with English Learners preferred
• Display a strong knowledge of elementary common core Math and ELA standards
• Communicates effectively with parents
• Possess strong, positive leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff in the school
• Possess ability and willingness to plan and implement instruction with grade-level teams
• Possess the ability to interpret data and plan interventions accordingly
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills
• Possess knowledge of differentiated instruction practices and strategies
• Possess strong classroom management skills
