Position Details

North Central Area Schools is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to serve as the Varsity Baseball Head Coach. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction for the varsity baseball program while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and the overall development of student-athletes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and conduct practices and competitions.
• Teach fundamental and advanced baseball skills, strategies, and techniques.
• Promote a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, accountability, teamwork, and academic success.
• Provide appropriate supervision and ensure the safety of student-athletes.
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents/guardians, school administration, and athletic staff.
• Maintain and manage team equipment, uniforms, and facilities.
• Follow all North Central Area Schools, conference, and MHSAA rules and expectations.
• Serve as a positive role model and representative of North Central Area Schools.

Qualifications:

• Previous baseball coaching and/or playing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes.
• Must meet all district and MHSAA coaching requirements.
