QUALIFICATIONS:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required/preferred. Such alternatives to the above qualifications that the Administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have knowledge of technology and support electronic learning.
- Must be trained or willing to be trained in behavior management techniques such as Safety Care.
- Demonstrates an understanding of a student’s problems.
- Demonstrates initiative and creativity with students and their program.
- Successful experience working with and communicating with students in an educational setting.
- Meet the same physical standards as required by teachers.
- Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a High School diploma.
- Must meet GSRP requirements by having one of the following:
- An associate degree in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent A valid Center-Based Preschool CDA credential
