Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, based in Ann Arbor, MI, for a Housing Support Coordinator. The selected candidate will provide case management services, assisting clients with obtaining and maintaining stable housing. Responsibilities include conducting client assessments, connecting individuals to necessary resources, helping navigate housing options, coordinating with landlords, and providing ongoing support to ensure housing sustainability. Documentation and adherence to program guidelines are integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication
- Experience in case management and familiarity with housing support services preferred
- Customer service expertise with a focus on client-centered support
- Proficiency in providing technical support and using case management software is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and Veterans, and a commitment to supporting their self-sufficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with housing assistance programs and local resources is an advantage
- Valid driver's license is required
