Duties
- Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Ensure all items are properly stored after washing and drying.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus
