Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver products to customers and clients across designated routes
- Load and unload items.
- Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during delivery appointments
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience in a commercial setting
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations, including
driver requirements and safety standards - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving items, and prolonged periods of standing or walking during deliveries
- Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management
- Ability to navigate using GPS or route planning tools effectively
- Dependable work ethic with a focus on punctuality, safety, and attention to detail
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
