The ideal candidate will have a passion for lawn care and landscaping, with a strong understanding of groundskeeping practices. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties through effective lawn and landscape management.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure a well-manicured appearance.
- Conduct groundskeeping activities such as planting, digging, and maintaining flower beds and gardens.
- Provide tree care services, including pruning and health assessments to promote growth and vitality.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Monitor the health of lawns and landscapes, identifying issues such as pests or diseases, and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and basic repairs.
- Communicate with clients regarding their lawn care needs and provide recommendations for improvements.
Experience
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with groundskeeping techniques, tree care practices, and landscape maintenance is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks such as digging and lifting.
