What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapist (IOP) Part-Time position at Michiana Behavioral Health?
WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS
Michiana Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed therapist for our Intensive Outpatient Program. Our IOP is experiencing growth and significant expansion; we will now be able to offer treatment to individuals in need 365 days a year. This program utilizes both virtual and in-person treatment. The position is designed for weekend and holiday coverage only. We offer highly flexible working hours including a weekend off every quarter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving those with behavioral health and substance abuse issues.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Complete psychosocial assessment upon admission
- Case management and treatment planning
- Group, individual, and family sessions
- Aftercare coordination
- Document treatment provided to patient in medical record legibly and in a timely manner
- Assist with groups on acute inpatient unit
About Universal Health Services
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
- A minimum of one (1) year with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, treatment and clinical assessment skills preferred.
- Licensure required. LSW, LMHCa or equivalent; LCSW, LMFT, LMHC.
- Able to work weekends and holidays
