Duties
- Provide professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, gel-X extensions, and nail art with precision and creativity
- Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions, gel polish, and intricate designs based on client preferences
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Educate clients on nail care routines, product recommendations, and aftercare tips to promote healthy nails
- Assist with retail sales by recommending suitable nail care products and accessories to clients
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and industry innovations to provide cutting-edge services
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role with a strong portfolio of nail art and extension work
- Broad knowledge of nail practices including gel manicures, pedicures and gel-x nail application (preferred)
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures
- Strong communication skills to engage clients confidently, understand their desired outcomes and provide personalized recommendations
- Ability to perform detailed nail care services such as cuticle treatment, buffing, shaping, and polishing
- Utilize salon software, Meevo, for appointment scheduling, rebooking and client records
- Basic understanding of color theory for custom nail design recommendations
- Certification or licensing in cosmetology or related field is required
