Job Responsibilities And Expectations
- Provide patients with complete aesthetic consultation
- Ability to discuss with patients management plan
- Medical history and physical exam to determine candidacy for aesthetic treatments
- Documentation of medical history and physical exam in secure EMR
- Documentation of all communication with patients related to medical procedures
- Proper consent for procedures
- Ability to formulate an aesthetic treatment plan including need for injectables
- Identify and manage aesthetic related adverse events and contraindications to procedures
- Ability to handle basic medical emergencies in office setting
- Self-learning
- Ability to attend off site trainings
- Facial treatment and skin care inventory, ordering and waste prevention
- Assist in creation of protocols for safety
- Assist in creation and organization of training schedule
- At advanced level assist in training future aestheticians
- Cultivate a loyal patient following
- Participate in company marketing
- Follow office policy and protocol for aesthetic treatments
- Collaborate with other staff to advance self and others in knowledge base
- Maintain all patients on appropriate skin care
- Aesthetic procedures including chemical peels, advanced HydraFacial, Microneedling with and without energy, PRP, Laser resurfacing and Broad Band Light.
- Assist in body contouring procedures: radiofrequency skin tightening, Coolsculpting, Cooltone
- 3 year minimum in Medical Spa environment as a provider
- Experience in one or several of the following services or similar devices: HydraFacial, IPL/BBL, SkinPen, dermaplaning, ultrasound facial, Venus Versa, Venus Viva, CoolSculpting, laser hair removal, chemical peels, general medical grade facials.
- Product knowledge and ability to create skincare packages tailored to clients.
- Strong communication skills and drive to go above and beyond in customer service.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Persuasive soft sales experience
- Ability to up-sell treatments and packages
- Love of customer care and investing in relationships
- Experience in a medical spa setting as a provider
- Independent nature in self-promotion and bookings
- Professional presentation in appearance and language
