Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner with Dermatology experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physician. This role requires previous dermatology experience, a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as Cerner, for data management and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Skills
- 2 years experience in Dermatology
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and medical-surgical care.
- Strong knowledge of discharge planning processes.
- Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) procedures effectively.
- Familiarity with infection control practices to ensure patient safety.
- Competent in data management practices within EHR systems like Cerner.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient documentation.
