Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as Ferris walk behind mowers
- Conduct lawn care activities such as utilizing a mower, weed wacker, and blower to maintain properties
- Assist with tree care including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal while adhering to safety standards
- Support general landscape maintenance routines including gardening tasks, seasonal clean-up, snow plowing during winter months, and general lawn mowing during summer months
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating various landscaping equipment and tools
- Proficiency in lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of horticulture practices including plant health care and tree trimming
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as walk behind Ferris mowers confidently and safely
- Ability to perform snow plowing operations during winter seasons efficiently
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
