Responsibilities for Medical Assistant in Office
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Triage patient calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and scan medical records
- Arrange hospital admissions and labs and imaging
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
- Certification in medical assistance preferred, but not mandatory
