Job Description: Gerber Machine Off loader/Fabric Cutter
Department: Cutting
Job Summary: The Gerber Machine Off loader/fabric cutter is responsible for offloading our automated cutting system and accurately labeling and bundling covers for upholstered furniture. Also, responsible for maintaining a clean and organized area.

Essential Functions:
· Ability to read and interpret production tickets.
· Ability to determine cutting procedures for different types of fabrics.
· Ability to measure repeats of fabric and determine cutting direction.
· Ability to accurately label cut pieces and bundle.

Required Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Minimum of one year of experience in related field
Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne dust particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud, hearing protection is provided.
Physical Demands: The position requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, frequent lifting, pushing and pulling objects that are up to 60 pounds or heavier.
The company provides safety glasses, hearing protection, masks, gloves, and low back support belts.
Safety glasses are required to be worn during working hours in the factory.
Productivity Requirements: Accurately label and bundle 4 pieces per hour while off loading the Gerber cutting machine.
Other Duties: This job may require other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
