About the Role

In this role, you will be the "right hand" to our dental hygienists, ensuring our patients have a seamless and comfortable experience from the moment they are seated until they schedule their next visit. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is eager to learn, dependable, and possesses a strong work ethic.
Primary Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Greet and seat patients promptly, ensuring they are comfortable and prepared for their appointment.
- Radiography: Take high-quality dental X-rays (digital) as requested.
- Clinical Support: Assist the hygienist with charting, taking detailed notes during exams, and maintaining a clean, sterile environment.
- Administrative: Help patients schedule their follow-up hygiene appointments and maintain the flow of the daily schedule.
- Sterilization: Ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and set up according to office protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior dental experience is required! We are happy to train the right person. However, any previous experience in a dental or medical setting will give you a distinct advantage.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort using computers for scheduling and charting (experience with Open Dental is a plus but not required).
- Reliability: We value punctuality and a consistent "team-player" attitude.
