We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Day Porter to join our facilities maintenance team. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across multiple areas, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Maintain a clean and organized supply closet; restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Support facilities management by reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors courteously and responding promptly to cleaning or maintenance requests.

Experience

• Janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Experience handling chemical agents safely according to chemical handling safety procedures.
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safe lifting practices required for manual handling tasks.
• Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence to ensure a secure working environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and visitors.
