Job Description
- Lead onsite construction operations for industrial/commercial projects from mobilization through closeout.
- Manage subcontractors, workflow sequencing, equipment, and daily production goals.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, including job hazard planning, daily task safety reviews, and OSHA compliance.
- Oversee site logistics, including crane planning, laydown areas, material control, and crew coordination.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, RFIs, and technical details to guide accurate field installation.
- Conduct subcontractor meetings, oversee QC inspections, track progress, and maintain daily documentation.
- Work closely with the Project Manager on schedule updates, cost impacts, manpower forecasts, and problem resolution.
- Support startup, commissioning, and turnover processes as required.
- Travel frequently to project sites nationwide, with multi‑week rotations typical.
The Successful Applicant
- 7 years of field leadership experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics/distribution, power, or large commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of equipment‑heavy, fast‑paced project environments with complex safety and logistics requirements.
- Excellent skills in subcontractor coordination, scheduling, field sequencing, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to interpret drawings, structural details, and engineering documentation with confidence.
- Strong communication skills-able to lead crews, collaborate with management, and interface with owners.
- A proactive, detail‑oriented leadership style with a focus on quality, safety, and productivity.
- Willingness to travel nationwide for extended durations.
- Experience with industrial self‑perform or EPC‑style work (preferred).
- Base Salary: $140k - $182k
