Our client is a full-service General Contractor/Construction Manager that has been in business for over 30 years. This company, which is experiencing consistent growth, is renowned in the Southeast market with regards to their bread-and-butter project types - Hospitality and Large Commercial.

They are headquartered in Mississippi, however have operations across the Southeast and VA. This role allows the right candidate to operate on a traveling basis with company-paid trips home monthly OR have their relocation expenses covered. The initial project is a $300M casino in VA.
Job Description
- Leading all safety operations on a 3-year, $300M Casino site
- Establishing and implementing safety programs, policies, and site standards
- Acting as the primary safety authority for site teams, subcontractors, and leadership
- Partnering directly with senior leadership to shape future safety processes
- Positioning the safety function for scale across future projects
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Occupational Safety, or related field of study
- 7 years in a Commercial or Hospitality Construction Safety role
- OSHA 30 certification is required
- Additional certifications and training helpful
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Tower cranes, mobile cranes, crawler cranes
- Material hoists & personnel lifts
- Telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts
- Earthmoving equipment
- Steel erection sequencing
- Fall protection at height
- Decking operations
- Welding, cutting, and fire‑watch oversight
- Crane coordination with steel ironworkers
