Job Description
- Direct and coordinate internal pilot‑level manufacturing activities that support product development, verification, and early production runs.
- Establish dependable build schedules and drive operational preparedness to ensure each manufacturing iteration is executed smoothly and on time.
- Work closely with process engineering teams to mature manufacturing methods so they become consistent, repeatable, and ready for future scaling.
- Ensure that all work instructions, build criteria, and supporting documents are complete, accurate, and ready before production begins.
- Support new product introduction initiatives by guiding the transition from engineering prototypes into structured manufacturing workflows.
- Collaborate with quality, supply chain, and engineering functions to maintain alignment on product performance, compliance, and operational goals.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of manufacturing supervisors, engineers, and production operators.
- Provide leadership with clear and accurate insight into manufacturing outcomes, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- 8-12 years of operational or manufacturing experience, ideally within a regulated medical‑device or similar environment.
- Proven success managing manufacturing teams in compliance‑driven settings.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing practices, documentation systems, and quality frameworks.
- Demonstrated capability to guide cross‑functional groups spanning engineering, quality, and operations.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills with a focus on operational excellence.
- Compensation: Base salary target $175,000 - $185,000 Performance Bonus
