A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality systems, ensure products consistently meet internal and customer specifications, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role will focus on SPC, internal audits, process optimization, and fostering a strong culture of quality across manufacturing operations.

Description

  • * Own and manage the Quality Management System (QMS), quality control processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
  • * Lead internal audits of the QMS and manufacturing processes, identify non-conformances, and implement corrective actions to drive compliance and operational improvements.
  • * Collect, analyze, and report on quality data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify trends, support strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • * Partner with customers to gather product feedback, investigate complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • * Develop and execute quality improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • * Establish and communicate quality metrics aligned with organizational objectives to promote visibility, accountability, and performance across teams.
  • * Lead ISO and laboratory accreditation audits, annual recertifications, and coordinate with external auditing agencies to maintain compliance and certifications.

Profile

  • * 7-10 years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment required.
  • * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred, but not required.
  • * Strong ability to analyze complex quality and production data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective actions and process improvements.
  • * Proven experience leading quality teams, collaborating cross-functionally, and building strong working relationships across operations and leadership.
  • * Working knowledge of quality management systems, analytical tools, and core quality methodologies, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement principles.
  • * Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and demonstrated success driving targeted improvement initiatives and quality-focused operational enhancements preferred.
  • * Experience with manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tooling/design concepts is a plus.
  • * Familiarity with precision measurement and inspection equipment, including optical comparators, micrometers, and vision measurement systems, preferred.
  • * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

Salary : $115,000 - $130,000
