Job Description
- Generate and manage inspection documentation including FAIRs, PPAPs, and inspection plans
- Program and operate advanced vision and measurement systems for incoming and final inspections
- Set daily priorities within the QA/QC lab to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery
- Train inspectors and develop clear work instructions and visual aids
- Manage inspection software and implement process improvements for data and workflow optimization
- Act as a quality interface for suppliers and customers, driving issue resolution and improvement
- Lead MRB and RMA activities, ensuring timely and effective customer responses
- Perform root cause analysis using structured quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, 5-Why)
- Apply statistical tools to analyze trends and support decision-making
- Support product testing, audits, and customer quality flow-down requirements
- Collaborate with engineering and NPD teams to improve yield and inspection methods
- Design fixtures and support automation and new inspection technologies
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field
- 5 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems; AS9100 experience preferred
- Experience with ERP platforms and quality/inspection software
- Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and Excel
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles
- Strong communication skills with customer and supplier interaction experience
- U.S. citizenship required
