Job Description
- Lead efforts in problem identification, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform loss reporting and trend analysis, using data to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
- Design, develop, and implement process control methods, in addition to testing and inspection strategies that enhance product reliability and consistency.
- Maintain and improve quality documentation, including control plans, work instructions, and inspection procedures.
- Develop, execute, and report on quality metrics, providing meaningful insights to operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Support and participate in internal audits, as well as external customer or regulatory audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards (ISO, customer specifications, etc.).
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and strengthen overall process performance.
- Drive adoption of industry‑standard quality tools and methodologies across the organization.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 4 years of industry experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP, CAPA, control plans, and root‑cause analysis techniques.
- Demonstrated experience using data‑driven approaches to analyze problems and make process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with quality‑related software tools, measurement systems, and standard testing equipment is a plus.
- Base salary $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience level
