The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of ground-up and interior commercial construction projects. You will work closely with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery.

Description

  • Lead and manage the entire project process from conception to completion, including both ground-up construction and interior fit-out phases.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met in a timely manner.

  • Oversee and control project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout the project.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, and proactively resolve issues that may arise during construction.

  • Supervise and guide project teams, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring high levels of performance and quality.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant laws and standards.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management, clients, and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing commercial projects from the ground up, including interior fit-out work. You must possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations. A keen eye for detail, along with a strategic approach to problem-solving and a solid understanding of construction processes, is critical. The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving construction environment.

  • 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction (ground up and interiors).

  • Expertise in managing full project lifecycles, from preconstruction to project closeout.

  • Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing client relationships and leading project teams.

  • Ability to navigate complex project challenges and drive solutions effectively.
