Job Description
- Lead full‑cycle project execution, contract administration, planning, and resource management across multi‑state T&D projects.
- Own project performance across safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client satisfaction.
- Manage initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closeout phases across all scopes.
- Direct multidisciplinary project teams; mentor emerging engineers and coordinators.
- Maintain strong relationships with client leads, field teams, and construction partners throughout the Southeast.
- Ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery of 69-500 kV transmission, substation, and distribution projects.
- Track key performance indicators, including schedule and financial metrics.
- Identify and mitigate field and construction risks, particularly in energized or brownfield environments.
- Manage scope changes, documentation, dashboards, and project communications.
- Produce clear, client‑ready reports and provide solutions to improve performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager - T&D - Southeast should have:
- 10 years of project management in utilities, construction, or engineering.
- Strong background leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience interfacing with utility clients and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling 10-25% across the Southeast.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- Experience in engineering design, field work, or construction.
- PMP certification (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with T&D construction, commissioning, or utility operations.
- $70-$85/hr , depending on experience.
