Job Description

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and CAD professionals supporting substation projects.
• Oversee execution of substation engineering deliverables across Physical Design and Protection & Control disciplines.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and provide technical review and quality oversight of project work.
• Manage project schedules, staffing, resource planning, and successful delivery across multiple active projects.
• Act as a primary client contact to support project execution, maintain relationships, and identify future opportunities.
• Direct development and review of engineering packages including design calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Support project activities through engineering, field support, commissioning, testing, and project closeout.
• Mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices, safety standards, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Project Engineer IV - Substation Should Have

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
• 8 years of experience in substation engineering with exposure to both physical and protection & control design.
• Prior experience leading teams and managing engineering project execution.
• Working knowledge of relay applications, commissioning, testing, and utility standards.
• Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing environments.
