As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team and help us shape the future of multi-family housing in Detroit.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise on-site construction activities for multi-family projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Conduct regular site inspections, maintain detailed records, and report progress to project management.
• Lead a team of skilled trades, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Resolve on-site issues, conflicts, and unexpected challenges in a proactive and timely manner.
• Monitor and manage project budgets and costs, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain a safe and organized construction site, emphasizing adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement among on-site personnel.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on multi-family residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and documents.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with construction software and tools.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
