The Lead Superintendent - Ground-Up Construction - Bethesda, MD
- Lead all on-site construction activities for ground-up new construction projects
- Manage daily field operations including scheduling, safety, quality control, and productivity
- Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers (3-4 direct reports)
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries to maintain project momentum
- Enforce safety standards and company policies on-site at all times
- Partner with senior leadership to ensure project milestones, budgets, and schedules are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the construction lifecycle
The Successful Applicant
A successful Lead Superintendent - Ground-Up Construction - Bethesda, MD should have:
- 10 years of construction experience with significant time in a Superintendent role.
- Proven ground-up, new construction experience (minimum of 3 projects required).
- Experience leading projects valued at $30M strongly preferred.
- Background in hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, office, or large-scale commercial projects.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage field teams and subcontractors.
- Stable work history - no job hoppers
The Lead Superintendent - Ground-Up Construction - Bethesda, MD will receive:
- Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $165,000 USD annually.
