Job Description

In this Building and Construction Estimator role, you will:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and higher education projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Collaborate with project managers and preconstruction teams
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Support proposal development and bid submissions
  
  

A strong background in commercial and higher education Building and Construction is essential for success in this position.

The Successful Applicant

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• 3 years of estimating experience in Building and Construction
• Proven expertise in commercial and higher education projects (required)
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• A consistent track record working as an estimator on relevant projects
  
  

Candidates without experience in both commercial and higher education sectors will not be considered for this role.
