Job Description
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Estimating, the Commercial Construction Estimator will take ownership of estimating operations within the local market and support the company's continued expansion.
- Lead the preparation of detailed conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate pricing strategies
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
- Collaborate with operations and business development teams throughout the pursuit process
- Present estimates and recommendations to executive leadership
- Support the development and continuous improvement of estimating processes and best practices

The Successful Applicant
For the Commercial Construction Estimator we are seeking:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Proven ability to prepare competitive and accurate project estimates
- Strong understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and pricing
- Experience reviewing plans, specifications, subcontractor scopes, and bid packages
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently while helping build and lead a growing estimating function
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to contribute to company growth
