The Engineering Program Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering programs focused on chemical processes, metallurgical science, and electroplating technologies.

This role combines program leadership, technical contribution, and customer-facing responsibilities to drive new product development from concept through commercialization, ensuring technical excellence, quality, and on-time delivery.

Description

  • Lead end-to-end program management for engineering initiatives related to chemical processing, metal finishing, and electroplating applications
  • Manage customer-facing programs, ensuring technical requirements, timelines, and quality expectations are consistently achieved
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, setting priorities and driving performance
  • Oversee development of new products and processes from early-stage optimization through scale-up and commercial launch
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks related to materials, corrosion, surface treatments, and plating performance
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and Operations teams to ensure effective process transfer and production readiness
  • Maintain program documentation, dashboards, and technical reports to support internal decision-making and customer communication
  • Drive continuous improvement across process capability, product reliability, and program execution

Profile

A successful Engineering Program Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years managing engineering programs
  • Strong background in metal finishing, electroplating chemistry, corrosion science, or surface treatments
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and technical customer engagements
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear execution plans
