Job Description
- Lead engineering and estimating team operations
- Support development of pricing proposals and cost models
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimization
- Identify cost reduction and product improvement opportunities
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality teams
- Implement new technologies and manufacturing methods
- Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams
- Develop project specifications and customer proposals
- Present technical reports and findings to stakeholders
- Oversee engineering policies, standards, and procedures
- Manage staffing, training, and performance of team members
- Set goals and track team and departmental performance
- Support new product introduction (NPI) processes
- Assist in budgeting for labor, equipment, and overhead
- Analyze production workflows and improve efficiency
- Ensure alignment with ISO and quality standards (as applicable)

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Engineering Manager Should Have
- Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- 2 years in high‑volume manufacturing environment
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong project management and planning skills
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of fabrication processes and production methods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) preferred
- Familiar with ISO 9001 standards a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
