Job Description
The Drywall Estimator will be responsible for:
- Preparing detailed estimates by interpreting plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Performing accurate take-offs using On-Screen Takeoff software
- Developing written proposals for competitive bids across multiple project types
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local material, labor, and equipment pricing
- Ensuring estimates comply with local, city and state building codes
- Supporting bids across drywall, acoustical ceilings, Div 8 and Div 10 scopes
- Training and mentoring project engineers and junior estimators
- Collaborating with preconstruction and operations teams to support pipeline growth
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Drywall Estimator Should Have
- Experience estimating large-scale commercial construction projects
- Strong drywall estimating background preferred (GC experience considered)
- Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff
- Knowledge of commercial interiors and mixed-use construction
- Ability to work fully in-office in Beltsville, MD
