Job Description
The Operations Manager - Commercial Concrete will report to senior leadership and take full ownership of the commercial unit's operational strategy and execution. You will play a critical role in driving performance, standardizing processes, and leading high-performing teams.
- Lead and develop the commercial operations structure, processes, and team performance
- Oversee safety, quality, production, manpower, equipment, and project logistics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Drive collaboration across estimating, project management, and field operations
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational best practices
- Lead conflict resolution and support a high-performance, accountable culture
- Champion company initiatives and ensure communication flows effectively across teams
The Successful Applicant
For the Operations Manager - Commercial Concrete, we are seeking:
- 10 years of construction experience, including leadership roles
- At least 5 years of experience within commercial concrete construction
- Strong background across estimating, project management, and field execution
- Proven ability to lead and scale teams in a fast-paced construction environment
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills
- Solid understanding of safety standards and operational compliance
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Ability to motivate teams and drive performance across multiple projects
- Salary: $120,000 - $145,000
