Well-established investment firm based in Princeton, NJ. This role is 3 days per week in office with 2 from home, and offers an individual with buy side & fixed income experience a chance to join a collaborative and stable reporting team.
Description
This role will involve:
- Reporting: Play a key role in the monthly and quarterly client reporting process, actively participating in all phases from data gathering to final delivery.
- Data Extraction: Extract and combine data from diverse sources to generate accurate and timely reporting packages, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and client expectations.
- Analysis & Efficiency: Analyze and evaluate the current reporting platform, identifying opportunities for improvement, automation, and streamlining based on firm and industry best practices.
- Team Player: Foster a collaborative environment through effective communication and teamwork within Enterprise Business Services, Data, Investment, and Technology teams.
- Problem Solver: Troubleshoot errors in the reporting platform and handle ad-hoc requests with a resourceful and solutions-oriented approach.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 7 years of recent experience in Asset Management (Buy Side) Reporting or a role with a similar skill-set, demonstrating a strong understanding of Fixed Income portfolios and key reporting data points.
- Demonstrates proficiency in compiling data from diverse sources, crafting accurate and timely reporting packages with meticulous attention to detail.
- Adept at using relevant reporting tools and technologies, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Confident and comfortable interacting directly with clients, investment teams, and senior stakeholders, effectively communicating complex information and addressing inquiries.
- Thrives in a team environment, fostering open communication and collaboration while demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines effectively, and solve problems independently.
- Skilled in using multiple sources to verify transaction details, portfolio holdings and characteristics, attribution, and other activity with meticulous accuracy.
- Possess knowledge of a broad range of asset classes, including Government, Municipal, Mortgage, Corporate, and Loans
