Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Developer - Ashburn, VA will be responsible for:

• Partner with the Senior Superintendent to oversee all phases of construction on a new multifamily development in Ashburn, VA.
• Take ownership of specific scopes of work and manage them independently, including areas such as MEP, framing, drywall, interior finishes, or other assigned portions of the project.
• Coordinate field operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to quality standards.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, site logistics, scheduling, and daily project activities.
• Assist with project planning, inspections, quality control, and problem resolution throughout construction.
• Collaborate closely with project management and field leadership teams to maintain project objectives.
• Utilize Procore and Microsoft Project to track progress, documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
• Support the successful delivery of an eight-story, podium-style multifamily development featuring both concrete and wood-frame construction.
• Contribute to a growing pipeline of multifamily developments with future opportunities on upcoming projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Developer - Ashburn, VA should have:

• 6 years of construction experience in a field leadership role.
• Ground-up multifamily or hotel construction experience required.
• Strong knowledge of both concrete and wood-frame construction.
• Ability to manage a portion of a project with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with all phases of construction from site work through project completion.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and quality control efforts.
• Proficiency with Procore and/or Microsoft Project preferred.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications are highly preferred.
• Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree is a plus but not required.
• Open to local candidates or traveling professionals seeking long-term opportunities.
