What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Foreman position at Michael Murphy Construction?
Duties:
-Concrete Foreman oversees the preparation, placement, finishing on job site
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces
- Use various tools and equipment to apply and finish concrete, including trowels, screeds, and edgers
- Ensure proper curing and drying of concrete surfaces
- Repair and patch damaged or uneven concrete surfaces
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
-Valid Driver's License/CDL preferred
- Previous experience in concrete finishing or related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
-Pay is based on experience and if you have a valid CDL
