Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the collection of payments from customers on behalf of the company. Assists and support others within the team as needed to ensure team is completing tasks efficiently and timely.
- Assists Account Receivable clerks as needed
- Ensures all invoices are processed timely and accurately
- Oversees posting of payment and credit transactions
- Prepares reports as needed for internal and external customers
- Monitors invoices and payments thereof for multiple accounts and in various payment systems
- Follows up with customers to address billing questions and issues with outstanding payments
- Collaborates with IT, Customer Service, Controller and CFO
- Use of multiple systems
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Knowledge of Accounting principles
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge & experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred
- Detailed, organized, independent thinker with ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Familiarity with general workflow of warehouse management systems preferred: (Cadence/Cadre, Camelot, Boltrics)
- Knowledge & experience using the following preferred: Microsoft Great Plains, Coupa, Intelligent Audit, Zenvoices,Laserfiche
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routine, and standard accepted practices
- 2 years of Account Receivables or other accounting experience
- Preferred education minimum of an associate degree
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone and by computer
Salary : $48,000 - $60,000
