You’re a FrontEnd Engineer who builds clean, scalable, user‑focused interfaces with confidence and care. You bring deep experience in SFCC, modern JavaScript, and responsive design, and you know how to turn requirements into fast, accessible, production‑ready code. You thrive in agile teams, communicate clearly, and elevate others through mentorship and best practices. You stay current with evolving standards and push for performance, quality, and maintainability in everything you produce.
What You’ll Do:
- Create prototypes and production-ready XHTML / CSS / JS for eCommerce websites
- Build responsive layouts, reusable code and libraries for future use
- Focus on user needs and optimum user experience
- Work within an agile team, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and estimations
- Be forward thinking, focused on performance initiatives and driven to implement frontend solutions
- Contribute to the team's focus to maintain frontend Quality
- Stay current with evolving standards and technologies, learning new skills as needed
- Mentor the developers for frontend coding standards and best practices
You’ll Need to Have:
- Prior experience in a similar role at a software house and/or an eCommerce company
- Experience required in Salesforce commerce cloud (SFCC) ISML
- Extensive experience in Page Designer and creating reusable components
- Mastery of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6) adhering to industry defined coding standards
- Experience with unit testing / integration / end-to-end testing
- Experience using CSS pre-processors, CSS-in-JS, SCSS
- Knowledge of popular CSS grid systems
- Hands-on experience in Media query system
- Experience in Typography, Spacing system
- Frontend performance optimization skills to adhere to core web vitals standards
- Experience in PWA kit and dynamic component loading techniques
- Solid understanding of the Agile methodology i.e. story point estimation, refinement, sprint planning, retrospective, sprint demos
- Commercial experience of using version control tooling (GIT) in a large development team performing.
- Good understanding / awareness of Accessibility, SEO Principles, Security, Performance best practices
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills
- A desire to write readable, maintainable, modular and extendable code
- Experience in bringing multiple viewport responsive and adaptive web designs to life
