What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Analyst, PLM position at Michael Kors?
Who You Are:
You love helping to solve problems, are a great communicator, and can work in a fast-paced environment. You understand product lifecycle (Accessories, Apparel, Footwear) and technology and can marry the two together to provide solutions for our business teams. As a PLM & Market Order Analyst, you will be the expert on all things Product Systems related - whether that is general support, process mapping and requirements, testing and training, or data requests.
What You’ll Do:
- Understand the Michael Kors product lifecycle process for all categories of business (Accessories, Apparel, Footwear) and provide support to the business community
- Perform administrative tasks such as user logins, view setup and light configuration
- Help establish system best practices and governance
- Troubleshoot system issues, manage escalations and coordinate resolutions with Vendor, IT, and business.
- Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate back to PLM, Vendor or IT teams. This includes documentation such as business requirements documents, technical documents, and process maps
- Create and execute test scripts for internal testing and user acceptance testing for any deployments such as projects, change requests, bugs, etc.
- Support business in process mappings and aligning system and business processes
- Create and maintain training documentation and provide system training for internal and external end users across multiple time zones
- Proactively identify areas of improvement and log enhancements with vendors
- Support change management, system maintenance activities and deployments including off hours deployments, upgrades, or testing
- Ensure deployments follow Capri’s Change Management SOPs
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Hands on experience with PLM (experience with Centric Software a plus)
- Understanding of product lifecycle for Apparel, Footwear, and/or Accessories
- Critical thinking, problem solving, organizational skills
- Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams
- Ability to work in NYC office 3 days a week
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
