Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Junior BAS Technician to join our growing team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to learn the technical side of building controls, HVAC systems, and energy management. You’ll work alongside experience technicians and engineers to install, commission, and service automation systems across a variety of facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, wiring, and startup of BAS field devices and control panels
- Support technicians in testing and commissioning building control systems
- Troubleshoot HVAC and control issues under supervision
- Perform preventative maintenance on existing systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment used
- Learn to work with BAS software platforms, networked systems, and controllers
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience in HVAC, controls, or electrical systems
- Trade School certification required in HVAC or Electrical
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, control logic and mechanical equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the BAS field
- Reliable, detail-oriented and eager to learn new technologies
- Must be willing to accept training even if it’s out of state or outside of working hours
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record a must

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
