Role Description This full-time Attorney role is based in Las Vegas, NV. The Attorney will manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including investigating claims, interviewing clients and witnesses, and gathering evidence. Daily responsibilities include legal research and analysis, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement demands, and other legal documents. The Attorney will appear in court, represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations, and negotiate with opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and other parties. The role also involves providing clear legal advice to clients, collaborating with internal team members and experts, and maintaining accurate case files and timelines to ensure efficient, client-centered representation.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law and demonstrated experience handling personal injury matters.
- Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law as it relates to injury, disability, or workplace-related claims.
- Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in legal Research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents.
- Effective Negotiation skills for settlements, mediations, and discussions with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Active license to practice law in Nevada, in good standing with the state bar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting concise, persuasive legal documents.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities.
- Commitment to client advocacy, empathy, and professional integrity when working with injury victims and their families.
- Trial experience or willingness to develop litigation skills is highly beneficial.
