Michael’s House opened in 1989 and has been serving patients and their families through comprehensive integrated treatment for nearly three decades. Our 120 bed facility has helped countless men and women find the path to long-term recovery from addiction and mental health conditions.
Michael’s House is nationally recognized for providing integrated treatment for drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief/loss, personality disorders and similar conditions.
We are located at the foot of the towering San Jacinto mountain range in Palm Springs, California. Our modern, restorative facility with four campuses (Stabilization Center, Michael’s House Treatment Center, Outpatient Center and Men’s Transitional Living) provides safety and privacy for patients seeking healing and recovery.

- Per Diem
- Assessments and follow-ups
- History & Physicals
- Medication Management
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- An Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, in good standing or ability to obtain is required.
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner education training program is required.
- The ability to prescribe controlled substances and a current DEA license in California is required.
- Previous experience with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and prescribing/maintaining Suboxone tapers is preferred.
- Prior experience with addiction, dual-diagnosis, integrated care model, and/or psychiatry is preferred.
