What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/ Office Coordinator position at Michael C. Liddell, D.O. P.L.L.C.?
Medical assistant training is preferred, but willing to train well suited individual for position.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work with others and have excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, have fun, and handle constructive criticism while working under pressure
- Exceptional organizational and computer skills
- Must complete clerical work and work with others to innovate office protocols
Responsibilities:
- Interview patients to obtain medical information
- Measure weight and height and take vital signs
- Record patients' medical information in chart
- Prepare and administer medications/ injections as directed by physician
- Test urine and relay results to physician
- Help physician to examine and treat patients
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams/ keep rooms neat and clean
- Operate electrocardiogram (EKG), Tympanometry, Spirometry, and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
- Assist physician in providing a positive experience for our patients
- Assist coworkers with various tasks when needed
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
