Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Physical Therapy Aide, located in New York, NY. The Physical Therapy Aide will assist physical therapists with patient care, prepare treatment areas, and guide patients through designated therapy exercises. Additional responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of the facility, organizing equipment, and providing professional and empathetic support to patients to ensure an excellent rehabilitation experience.
Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in Physical Therapy and Exercise Physiology
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Experience in Patient Care and providing compassionate, hands-on assistance
- Customer Service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is a plus
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
