Description:
Under training and close supervision, the Assembly Mechanic C will assemble or install components as instructed using required hand tools and/or power tools. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

Technical Skills & Abilities
Capable of basic troubleshooting of mechanical and hydraulic issues. Proficient in standard assemblies. Must possess working knowledge of a line ticket and how to determine assemblies that function together as a system. Must have working knowledge of manual codes, options, hose reels. Ability to recognize exchange codes of parts (600, 800, 810, 711). Knowledgable of different facets of the assembly process Sub, Final Assembly and the Test Area. Basic understanding of how assemblies work together in these areas and what is needed to create a finished quality product. Able to read and interpret blueprints to perform proper assembly procedures. Ability to read gradations on tape measure. Able to identify and establish differences between types of hardware (nuts & bolts)and dertermine which hardware to use for a specific job or task. Basic knowledge of PTO's and Transfer Case.
